1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website or engaging the services of Jeanncardelis, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or contact me for services.

2. Services Provided

Jeanncardelis provides professional AV technician services including but not limited to:

• LED wall and video display setup and operation
• Projection systems setup and alignment
• General session (GS) and breakout room support
• Cable management and infrastructure runs
• Stage and production support
• Supply management and on-site operations
• Load-in and load-out support

All services are performed on a 1099 independent contractor basis. I am not an employee of any production company or venue listed on this site unless explicitly engaged under a separate agreement.

3. Booking & Engagement

Engagements are confirmed upon mutual agreement via written or verbal communication (email, text, or phone). A booking is considered confirmed when Jeanncardelis has acknowledged availability and agreed to the terms of a specific engagement.

• All booking requests must include event date, location, call time, and nature of work required.
• Rate agreements must be confirmed prior to the event date.
• Jeanncardelis reserves the right to decline any engagement at her discretion.
• Changes to confirmed engagements must be communicated as soon as possible.

4. Rates & Payment

Rates for services are determined on a per-engagement basis and are agreed upon prior to the event. Standard industry day rates apply unless otherwise negotiated.

• Payment is due within the timeframe agreed upon at booking, or within 30 days of the completed engagement if no timeline is specified.
• Late payments may be subject to follow-up and may affect future booking availability.
• Jeanncardelis operates as a 1099 contractor. Clients are responsible for issuing applicable tax documentation as required by law.
• Mileage, travel, lodging, and per diem for out-of-market engagements are negotiated separately and must be confirmed prior to booking confirmation.

5. Cancellation Policy

I understand that productions change. However, cancellations impact scheduling and income. The following guidelines apply:

• 72+ hours notice — Cancellation accepted with no penalty.
• 24–72 hours notice — A kill fee of 50% of the agreed day rate may apply.
• Less than 24 hours notice — Full day rate may be invoiced at my discretion.
• Show cancellations on-site — Full day rate applies regardless of hours worked.

Cancellation terms may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis for established partners.

6. Conduct & Professional Standards

Jeanncardelis is committed to maintaining the highest standard of professional conduct on every job. In return, clients and production companies engaging my services agree to:

• Provide a safe and respectful working environment
• Communicate call times, expectations, and scope clearly in advance
• Compensate fairly and on time per agreed terms
• Treat me with the same professionalism I bring to every engagement

I reserve the right to remove myself from any work environment that is unsafe, hostile, or unlawful, without forfeit of earned compensation.

7. Insurance & Liability

Jeanncardelis maintains general liability insurance as an independent contractor. This coverage is for professional protection in the course of normal AV technician duties.

• Liability is limited to the scope of services directly performed by Jeanncardelis.
• I am not responsible for damage caused by equipment owned or provided by the client, production company, or venue.
• I am not liable for circumstances outside of my direct control including, but not limited to, venue failures, equipment malfunctions unrelated to my scope, or acts of nature.

8. Intellectual Property & Portfolio Use

Content on this website — including copy, design, layout, and branding — is the property of Jeanncardelis and IMI (Independent Media & Image). Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

Photos, videos, and work documentation captured in the course of engagements may be used by Jeanncardelis for professional portfolio and marketing purposes unless a confidentiality agreement has been signed with the hiring party prior to the event.

9. Website Use

This website is for informational and professional booking purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use this site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access, alter, or disrupt the site's functionality
• Misrepresent yourself or your organization when making contact

I reserve the right to update or remove content from this site at any time without notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or the services of Jeanncardelis shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.
